Antiquesnart.com, is a new venture of Kerala Folklore Museum, promoted by George.J,Thaliath for dealing with Indian art. He has 35 years practical experience for evaluating antiquities and other art objects. Over this time, the extensive travelling around Indian sub-continent- from ancient cities to remote villages, royals to tribal huts- religions to ritual experiences helped him to study more about Indian art. The interaction with different caste and tribes, communication with the indigenous artists, folk art studies helped him to create a huge art collection which prompted him to promote Kerala Folklore Museum. Folklore Museum stands for the deep passion for traditional art, cultural and heritage of the common man and the respect for the creativity of all the neglected artists who lived through the bygone generations. The practical knowledge accumulated over a vast period about folk art and ethnic heritage helped him to write the museum catalogue ‘FACE’- Folk Art and Cultural Expression with an intention to share the knowledge with all who loves humanity. Being an antique collector, scholar in heritage studies, his service can be available as an art consultant for providing art education as well as to make museums and cultural projects.
